Come flow on the water with us as you come into balance, and experience union with your mind, body and soul Our introduction to SUP program is designed for the person who wants to experience SUP, learn some of the basics and have a fun time on the water. We cover basic gear knowledge, SUP safety, kneeling, standing up, proper paddle technique and everything else you need for a successful first experience. The goal is to leave you with lots of SUP stoke! You will need to be comfortable in the water and be able to swim. You do not need to have any prior paddling experience to take this lesson. Our Simcoe Intro to SUP lesson is 85 Min consisting of: A) 15 -20 Minutes of land instruction B) 70 Minute practical portion on the water - All SUP equipment will be provided for the practical lesson. - There is a $10. discount for those using their **own gear. • Lessons are taught by fully insured, PaddleFit and Paddle Canada Certified SUP Instructors. *Note: Total Price includes tax $79. +$10.27 HST = $89.27 per person (Includes equipment rental) ** To qualify for the $10. off for using your own equipment you "MUST" have a board (inflatables must be inflated to recommended pressure prior to the lesson), SUP paddle, leash and well fitting PFD. A "NON" refundable deposit (deposit is transferable to another person) of $40. + $5.20 tax = $45.20 is required to save your spot which can be email transferred, the remainder can be paid online the day before or brought with you in CASH to the lesson. Deposits are non-refundable. If we have to cancel due to weather/safety concerns we will do our very best to offer a makeup class, however it's not guaranteed. A refund will be given if a make up class is not possible. Lessons will start on time, please plan to be early, you will not be able to participate if you miss the land instruction portion. If you are late, lesson will end at scheduled time. If it rains, we get wet! sessions will only be cancelled if safety is a concern. We do our best to make sure everyone has an amazing experience. *Please see bottom for COVID restriction policy - Deposits are non-refundable - One off lessons can be rescheduled 24 hrs before the lesson start without forfeiting the deposit. Pay as you go (Social Paddles, PaddleFit) classes can be rescheduled up to 4 hrs before the session start date and time. - Courses (Yoga, Skills Builder) can be rescheduled up to 48hrs before the course start date and time. If we have to cancel due to weather/safety concerns we will do our very best to offer a makeup class, however it's not guaranteed. - Practical Onsite & Online Zoom lessons will start on time. Please plan to be early. If you are late, lesson will end at scheduled time. - For group lessons, if it rains, we get wet! Group sessions will only be cancelled if safety is a concern. We do our best to make sure everyone has an amazing experience. *COVID Restrictions Policy: If a class has to be postponed due to COVID restrictions (Group numbers or stay at home orders) you will be contacted to reschedule. Where we cannot reschedule the specific class/lesson, we will apply the funds to another service or item on our site. Only applicable to class/lesson dates directly affected by an official provincial order. Our regular policy holds for any dates not affected by an official provincial order. For example, if you are participating in a 4 class course and only one lesson date is affected then the remaining 3 classes remain under our regular policy.
